Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Commissioner, Additional Secretary, Managing Director, Additional Chief Secretary, Secretary, Municipal Commissioner, Additional Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Deputy Secretary, General Manager, District Development Officer, Under Secretary, and Assistant Collector. His most recent position was Commissioner at Gujarat from June 1 to August 31, 1997, within the General Administration Department (Personnel).
