T Udhayachandran, born on 17 May 1972, is a 1995 batch IAS officer of the Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds a B.E. degree and is currently serving as the Principal Secretary in the Finance Department, Chennai, since 15 May 2023. Throughout his career, he has held various key positions including Secretary to the Chief Minister, Principal Secretary, Commissioner, Chairman and Managing Director, Director, Managing Director, District Collector, Executive Director, Deputy Commissioner, Project Director, Sub Collector, and Assistant Collector. He is proficient in English and Tamil.
