T Sanyasappa Rao, born on 10 May 1952, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 batch of the Andhra Pradesh cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Botany, a diploma in Forestry, and a graduate degree in Botany. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Principal Secretary, Managing Director, Commissioner, Director, Joint Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, Joint Collector, Project Officer, Project Director, and Sub Collector. His most recent position was Principal Secretary in the Industries and Commerce Department from 16 May 2011 to 31 May 2012.
