T P Rajesh, born on 17 April 1963, is a retired IAS officer from the 2004 Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds a P.G. in Forestry from the Indian Institute of Forest Management and an M.A. in English. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Director, Deputy Secretary, Special Officer, and Commissioner and Managing Director. His most recent position was Commissioner at the Handlooms, Handicrafts, Textiles and Khadi Department in Chennai from November 2021. He was awarded Best District Collector for 2015-2016 in Krishnagiri and recognized by the District Disabled Rehabilitation Centre, Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu.
