T K Ramachandran, a 1991 batch IAS officer from the Tamil Nadu cadre, was born on September 7, 1965. He holds an M.A. and an M.Tech. in Computer Science. Throughout his career, he has served in various capacities including District Collector, Deputy Commissioner, Principal Secretary, Commissioner, Managing Director, and Secretary. Most recently, he was the Secretary at the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, New Delhi, from June 14, 2023, to September 30, 2025. He is proficient in English and Tamil. T K Ramachandran is now retired from the Indian Administrative Service.
