T K Ramachandran, born on September 7, 1965, is a retired IAS officer from the 1991 Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds an M.A. and an M.Tech. in Computer Science. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Chairman, Principal Secretary, Secretary, Commissioner, Managing Director, Project Director, Director, Officer on Special Duty to Minister, District Collector, Executive Director, Deputy Commissioner, Sub Collector, and Assistant Collector. His most recent position was Secretary at the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, New Delhi, from June 14, 2023, to September 30, 2025. He is proficient in English and Tamil.
