T J Mathew, born on December 10, 1953, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1993 Kerala cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities including Sub Collector, District Collector, Director, Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary, and Secretary in the Information and Public Relations Department. His tenure as Secretary spanned from February 18, 2011, to December 31, 2013. Throughout his career, he held significant administrative roles, contributing to the governance of Kerala. He was also noted to have been under suspension at one point during his service.
