Dr. T.G. Vinay, born on December 1, 1979, is a 2009 batch IAS officer of the Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds an M.B.B.S. degree from R.G.U.H.S., Karnataka. Currently, he serves as the Managing Director of the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board since October 2, 2023. Throughout his career, Dr. Vinay has held various positions, including Director, District Collector, Deputy Commissioner, Project Officer, and Sub Collector. He is proficient in English and Kannada and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
