T D Soyantar, born on 15 May 1931, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1961 batch of the Gujarat cadre. He holds degrees in Economics, Law, and a Diploma in Commerce. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, District Collector, District Development Officer, Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, Commissioner, Secretary, and Managing Director. His most recent position was Managing Director at Gujarat’s Mines and Minerals Department from 1 May 1988 to 1 May 1989. Soyantar’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple senior roles within the Gujarat state government.
