T C Shekhar, born on 22 May 1961, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1987 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a graduate and postgraduate degree in Botany. During his career, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, District Collector, Municipal Commissioner, Project Director, and CEO. His most recent position was Metropolitan Commissioner at the Mumbai Metro Region Development Authority (MMRDA), Maharashtra. Throughout his tenure, Shekhar contributed to administrative functions across multiple departments within the state.
