T Balaraman, born on 25 August 1938, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1963 Maharashtra cadre. He holds postgraduate and graduate degrees in Physics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Joint Secretary, Secretary, Consultant, Managing Director, Officer on Special Duty to the Minister, Deputy Secretary, Joint Commissioner, Private Secretary, Chief Executive Officer, and Assistant Collector. His most recent designation was Joint Secretary in the Agriculture and Cooperation Department of Maharashtra.
