Syeed Fakhrudin Hamid, born on 18 February 1987, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2017 batch, Assam Meghalaya cadre. He holds a B.D.S. in Dentistry from Kashmir University and an M.A. in Public Management from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Currently, he serves as the Deputy Commissioner at Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir, a position he assumed on 23 February 2026. Fluent in English, Hindi, Kashmiri, and Urdu, Hamid continues to contribute to public administration within his cadre.
