Syedain Abbasi, an IAS officer of the 1990 batch belonging to the Assam Meghalaya cadre, was born on 29/01/1967. He holds a B.A. and M.A. degree. With proficiency in English, Hindi, Telugu, and Urdu, he has served as the Special Chief Secretary in the Public Health Engineering, Water Resources, Irrigation, and Information Technology Departments.
