Syed Sehrish Asgar, born on January 6, 1986, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2013 Punjab cadre. She holds an M.B.B.S. degree from the University of Jammu. Currently, she serves as Special Secretary in the Water Supply and Sanitation department of Punjab since January 22, 2026. Her previous roles include SDO/SDM, Assistant Secretary, CEO, District Collector and Development Commissioner, Mission Director, Additional Secretary to Commissioner, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Passport Officer, and deputation assignments in Jammu and Kashmir. She has been recognized for her work in Holistic Development through the Aspirational District Program. She is proficient in English, Urdu, and Punjabi.
