Syed Parvez Alam, born on 10 February 1955, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1999 batch, Bihar cadre. During his service, he held the position of District Magistrate from 11 January 2013 to 28 February 2015. He also served as the Director of Census Operations in the Land Revenue Department. His career in the IAS spanned various responsibilities within the Bihar cadre until his retirement.
