Syed Ali Azhar Rizvi, born on 19 December 1947, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, District Collector and Magistrate, Joint Secretary, Director, Special Secretary, Secretary Director, Registrar, and Secretary. His most recent position was Commissioner at the Commercial Taxes Department in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, from 30 August 2007 to 31 December 2007. Throughout his career, he contributed to the administrative framework of Uttar Pradesh until his retirement.
