Swinder Singh Puri, born on January 20, 1944, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1990 Punjab cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities including Managing Director, Deputy Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary, and Special Secretary. His most recent position was Special Secretary in the Parliamentary Affairs Department from June 1, 2003, to January 31, 2004. Throughout his career, he held multiple leadership roles within the government, contributing to administrative functions until his retirement.
