Currently, she serves as the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) at Ramnagar, Jammu & Kashmir, a position she has held since August 24, 2025. Previously, she worked in the Office of the Deputy Commissioner. Swati Sheemar continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
