Swati Sharma, born on 19 December 1977, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2003 batch, AGMUT cadre. She holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Zoology from Hindu College, Delhi, and an M.P.A. from Harvard University. Currently, she serves as Joint Secretary in the Rural Development Department, New Delhi, since 5 May 2023. Her past roles include Managing Director, Secretary, Additional Commissioner, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, District Magistrate, and District Sessions Judge. She has received awards in District Administration. Swati Sharma is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the IAS.
