Swatantra Kumar Singh, born on 13 August 1981, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2007 Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University, Raipur. Currently, he serves as Secretary in the Backward Classes & Welfare Department of Madhya Pradesh since 18 January 2026. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Member Secretary, Joint Secretary, Secretary, OSD-Cum-Director, Director, Additional Managing Director, Additional Commissioner, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, Chief Executive Officer, Sub-Divisional Officer, and Assistant Collector. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
