Swaroop P, born on 25 April 1978, is a 2003 batch Indian Administrative Service officer from the Gujarat cadre. He holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and an M.Sc. from M.I.D.P, Duke University, USA. Currently, he serves as the Industries Commissioner at Gandhinagar since 2 February 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner, Managing Director, District Collector, Additional Commissioner, District Development Officer, and Assistant Collector. Swaroop is proficient in English, Hindi, Telugu, and Gujarati. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
