Commissioner, Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) Welfare Department
Swaran Singh, born on 29 March 1950, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 Punjab cadre. A graduate in Medicine, he served in various capacities including Principal Secretary, Secretary, Additional Secretary, Managing Director, Director, Deputy Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Additional Deputy Commissioner, and Sub-Divisional Officer. His most recent position was Commissioner in the Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) Welfare Department from 25 February 2009 to 17 March 2009. Throughout his career, Singh contributed to multiple administrative roles within the Punjab cadre before retiring from service.
