Swapan Kumar Chaktraborty, born on August 1, 1949, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1994 batch, West Bengal cadre. He held various positions throughout his career, including Junior Scale, Additional District Magistrate, Deputy Magistrate, and Director. His most recent role was Joint Secretary in the Sports and Youth Affairs Department from June 2, 2008, to July 31, 2009. A graduate by education, Chaktraborty served with dedication until his retirement.
