Suverdhan, born on 19 June 1953, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1997 batch of the Uttarakhand cadre. During his career, he served in various capacities including Under Secretary, Executive Director, Additional Secretary, and Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister. His most recent position was Food Commissioner in the Consumer Affairs Department, from 24 June 2011 to 30 June 2013.
