Sushma Chauhan, born on 20 September 1982, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2009 batch, assigned to the A G M U T cadre. She holds a B.E. in Industrial Engineering from Pune University. Currently, she serves as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs since 21 March 2025. Throughout her career, she has held various positions including Director, Deputy Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, District Collector and Magistrate, Vice Chairman, and Additional Deputy Commissioner. She is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
