Susheel Kumar, born on April 21, 1958, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Physics, an MBA in Business Administration, and a graduate degree in Physics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Director General, Managing Director, Chairman, Commissioner, Vice Chairman, Chief Development Officer, District Collector and Magistrate, and Sub Divisional Magistrate. His most recent position was Secretary in the Department of Coal from November 24, 2016, to April 30, 2018.
