Susheel Gupta, born on April 13, 1941, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Punjab cadre. She holds a postgraduate degree in Psychology and a graduate degree in English. Throughout her career, she served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Deputy Secretary, Director, Additional Secretary, Managing Director, Special Secretary, Joint Secretary, and Secretary. Her most recent position was Secretary in the Human Resources Department from July 22, 1999, to April 30, 2001. Ms. Gupta’s extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience within the Indian government.
