He holds a graduate degree in Electronics from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi. Currently, he serves as the Municipal Commissioner at Ranchi, Jharkhand, a position he has held since June 16, 2025. Previously, he has worked as a Director. Sushant Gaurav is proficient in English and Hindi. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
