Surya Pal Gangwar, born on August 5, 1977, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2009 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.E. in Industrial Engineering. Currently, he serves as Secretary to the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, a position he assumed on January 20, 2025. His previous roles include Collector and District Magistrate, Managing Director, Special Secretary, Director, Chief Development Officer, and Joint Magistrate within the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Proficient in English and Hindi, Gangwar continues to contribute to the administration of Uttar Pradesh.
