Surjit Singh, born on 24 July 1949, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1996 batch of the Punjab cadre. A graduate by education, he has held several key positions including Deputy Commissioner, Special Secretary, Additional Director, and Additional Secretary. His most recent posting was as Deputy Commissioner at Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab, from 8 September 2008 to 31 July 2009. Throughout his career, Surjit Singh served in various administrative capacities within the Punjab government.
