Surinder M Dua, born on July 1, 1939, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Punjab cadre. He holds a graduate and postgraduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Labour Commissioner, Deputy Secretary, Joint Director, Director, and Joint Secretary. His most recent position was Joint Secretary in the Agriculture and Cooperation Department from June 1, 1995, to June 30, 1997. Mr. Dua's extensive service in the IAS reflects his commitment to public administration within the Punjab cadre.
