Surinder Kumar Verma, born on August 9, 1953, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1993 batch, Uttarakhand cadre. He served in the Health Department, most recently as Special Secretary from March 24, 2006, to August 31, 2013. His educational background includes a graduate degree in Mathematics, a B.E. in Civil Engineering, and an M.Tech. in Water Management. Throughout his career, he held various positions such as Under Secretary, Joint Managing Director, Chief Development Officer, and Joint Magistrate.
