Surinder Jit Singh Sandhu, born on 21 December 1951, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1991 Punjab cadre. He holds postgraduate and graduate degrees in English. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary, Special Secretary, Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Director, Additional Commissioner, and Presiding Officer. His most recent role was Secretary in the State Information Commission from 21 September 2010 to 31 December 2011. Mr. Sandhu’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple senior positions within the Punjab government before his retirement.
