Surinder Jit Singh Sandhu, born on December 21, 1951, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1991 Punjab cadre. He holds postgraduate and graduate degrees in English. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary, Special Secretary, Commissioner, Presiding Officer, Deputy Commissioner, Director, Additional Commissioner, Additional Deputy Commissioner, and Under Secretary. His most recent position was Secretary at the State Information Commission from September 21, 2010, to December 31, 2011. Mr. Sandhu’s extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience within the Punjab cadre.
