Suresh Kumar, born on January 15, 1945, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1968 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Civil Engineering. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, SDO, CEO, District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Director, Member Secretary, Consultant, Secretary, Principal Secretary, and Additional Chief Secretary. His most recent position was Additional Chief Secretary in the Department of Home Affairs, Maharashtra. Kumar’s extensive service reflects his long-standing commitment to administrative roles within the state government.
