Suresh Kumar, born on April 2, 1942, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1966 batch, Gujarat cadre. He holds postgraduate degrees in Technology and Mathematics, and a graduate degree in Physics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, District Development Officer, Director, Managing Director, Under Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Additional Textile Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Adviser, and Chairman. His most recent position was Managing Director at Gujarat from January 1 to July 1, 1990, within the Department of Finance.
