Suresh Chandra Gupta, born on 21 August 1962, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 batch, Sikkim cadre. He held various positions including Additional Chief Secretary, Agril Production Commissioner, Development Commissioner, Joint Secretary, and Commissioner & Secretary. His most recent role was Additional Chief Secretary in the Agriculture Department from 6 July 2016. Gupta holds a Diploma in Public Administration from the Indian Institute of Public Administration, an LL.B. in Law, and an M.Com. in Economic Development from the University of Rajasthan. Throughout his career, he served in multiple administrative capacities across departments.
