Suresh Chandra, born on January 6, 1963, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1989 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. A graduate in Physics, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Divisional Commissioner, and Managing Director. He held multiple Principal Secretary and Secretary roles, culminating as Principal Secretary in the Department of Labour and Employment from April 17, 2018, to March 31, 2020. His extensive career also included positions such as Registrar, Special Secretary Director, Vice Chairperson, Chief Development Officer, and Assistant Magistrate.
