Suresh Chandra, born on March 30, 1946, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1970 Maharashtra cadre. He holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in Commerce and a graduate degree in Law. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary, and Managing Director. His most recent position was Secretary in the Department of Industries and Commerce, Maharashtra. His extensive experience spans roles such as Special Secretary, Development Commissioner, Commissioner, General Manager, Chief Executive, and Deputy Commissioner, reflecting a diverse administrative tenure within the state government.
