Surendra Prasad Sinha, born on July 1, 1947, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1990 Bihar cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities throughout his career, including District Magistrate, Deputy Secretary, Director, Additional Secretary, Special Secretary, Project Director, Commissioner and Secretary, and Secretary Cum Inspector General. His most recent position was Secretary in the Urban Development Department from February 28, 2007, to June 30, 2007. Mr. Sinha’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple roles within the Bihar state government during his tenure in the IAS.
