Surendra Kumar Meena, born on 13 October 1986, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2011 batch, serving in the West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Rajasthan University and a B.Ed. in Mathematics from Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. Currently, he is the Special Secretary in the Agriculture Department of West Bengal, a position he has held since 23 March 2026. His previous roles include Special Commissioner, Executive Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, District Magistrate, Chief Executive Officer, and Additional Secretary. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Bengali.
