Suraj Deen Kureel, born on July 3, 1942, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1990 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He held various positions including Junior Scale, Additional Director, Special Secretary, and District Magistrate from May 1 to July 31, 2002. He served as Director of Census Operations in the Land Revenue Department. A graduate by education, Suraj Deen Kureel contributed to the administrative framework of Uttar Pradesh during his tenure in the IAS.
