Suprabhat Som, born on 15 February 1944, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Physics. During his career, he served in various capacities including Project Director, Joint Secretary, and Additional Executive Officer. His most recent position was Director in the School Education Department from 28 February 2002 to 29 February 2004.
