Sunny Raj, born on 13 August 1992, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2021 batch, allocated to the Jharkhand cadre. He holds an M.Tech. in Material Engineering from IIT Bombay. Currently, he serves as the Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) at Dhanbad, Jharkhand, a position he has held since 1 January 2026. Prior to this role, he worked as a Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO). Sunny Raj continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
