Sunil Soni, born on April 8, 1956, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nagpur University and an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Western Sydney, along with a certificate from the University of Western Sydney Macarthur. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Special Secretary, Director General, Additional Secretary, Principal Secretary, Development Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner, Secretary, Divisional Commissioner, and District Collector. His most recent designation was Secretary at Maharashtra in the Department of NRI Affairs.
