Sunil Soni is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer of the 1981 batch from the Maharashtra cadre. Born on 8 April 1956, he served as Secretary in the Department of NRI Affairs, Maharashtra. He holds a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nagpur University, an M.B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Western Sydney, and a Certificate from the University of Western Sydney Macarthur. During his career, he held various positions including Special Secretary, Director General, Additional Secretary, Principal Secretary, Development Commissioner, Director, Municipal Commissioner, Divisional Commissioner, District Collector, and Managing Director.
