Sunil Oberoi, born on April 24, 1962, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds a graduate degree in English. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Sub Divisional Officer, Additional District Magistrate, Additional Executive Officer, Special Secretary, Additional Director, and Joint Secretary. His most recent designation was On Compulsory Wait from February 9, 2001, to October 17, 2008. He was also under suspension during his service tenure.
