Sunil Kumar Gupta, an IAS officer of the 1987 batch belonging to the West Bengal cadre, was born on 05/12/1963. He holds a B.Tech. in Civil Eng from IIT, Kanpur, and a P.G. in Civil Eng from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Fluent in English and Hindi, he served as Secretary to the Vice President at the Vice President's Secretariat.
