Sundeep Kumar Nayak, born on 22 July 1963, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1988 Jammu & Kashmir cadre. He served as Director General in the Department of Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade from December 2021 to July 2023. His educational qualifications include postgraduate degrees in Population Development, Applied Geology, and Internal Policy Studies. Throughout his career, he held various key positions such as Managing Director, Principal Secretary to Government, Joint Secretary, Commissioner & Secretary to Government, Additional Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, and SDO/SDM. He received the Mahila Samridhi Award in 1996 from the Ministry of HRD, Department of Women and Child Development, Government of India.
