Sundareshbabu M, born on 23 December 1985, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2012 batch, Karnataka cadre. He holds a B.Sc. in Agriculture from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, and an MBA from N.A. Alagappa University. Currently, he serves as the Director of Census Operations (DCO) and Director of Citizen Registration (DCR) for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry since 18 June 2025. His previous roles include Managing Director, Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate, Chief Executive Officer, Assistant Commissioner, and Secretary. He is proficient in English, Tamil, and Kannada. Sundareshbabu M continues to serve in the IAS.
