Sundaram Chandrasekhar, born on November 10, 1949, is a retired IAS officer from the 1974 Gujarat cadre. He holds advanced degrees including a P.G. in Economics, an MBA from Warwick, and an M.Phil. in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities such as District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, Commissioner, Secretary, Settlement Commissioner, Additional Development Commissioner, and Managing Director. His most recent role was Managing Director of the Gujarat Sheep & Wool Development Corporation Limited in Gandhinagar from August 1, 2006, to November 30, 2009.
