Sumita Misra, born on January 30, 1967, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1990 Haryana cadre. She holds a B.A. from Lucknow University and an M.A. and Ph.D. from Kurukshetra University, Haryana. Currently, she serves as the Additional Chief Secretary & Financial Commissioner at Haryana's Revenue and Disaster Management Department, a position she has held since January 28, 2026. Throughout her career, she has also held the role of Additional Chief Secretary. Misra is proficient in English, Hindi, and Urdu and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
