Sumita Bagchi, born on 10 February 1968, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2014 batch, assigned to the West Bengal cadre. She is currently serving as the Special Commissioner in the Industries Department, a position she assumed on 3 April 2025. Throughout her career in the IAS, she has been dedicated to public service within her cadre. Sumita Bagchi continues to contribute to the administrative framework of West Bengal through her role in the Industries Department.
